Course Overview
The PERSONAL SECURITY DETAILS COURSE is a high risk military close protection training course that combines Military protective services and Police dignitary protection knowledge and skills into a five day training course. The course is held by the Military Training Center and it's modeled after Special Operations Warfare training programs. This highly sought out training is designed to provide protective services capabilities to military, law enforcement, and other government agencies. You will receive an intensive, full-immersion theoretical and practical special operations protective services training in reference to the military standards by qualified instructors - with years of verifiable real-world experience - coming from the NATO countries and friends’ Armed Forces. The course is an operationally solid and tactically fundamental, fast paced course that will teach you to work in every position in the protective team of high and low profile protection of the principal in all levels of risk protection. You will receive training in high risk vehicle operations in SUVs. You will learn basic theory, walking drills, dbus and enbus the vehicle, emergency response, response to attack at static locations and attack while walking or column formation. You will shoot live from pistol and assault rifle with training in shooting scenarios. You will learn basic first aid to stabilize your wounded principal or fellow operator injured during the incident. As the highlight there will be a live scenario in a urban area during rush hours, which will be evaluated by your instructors. For the last day is the practical final exam, which consists of your successful performance of the real world, day long situational. This will not just be a bodyguard program of practical work but a Military High Risk Close Protection Training and Certification Program which will allow you to work in high risk zones of the world. If you are looking for a civilian contract this will also greatly increase your ability to get hired in this rapidly growing field of international security work.
Course Schedule (changes are possible):
Day 1: Classroom instruction, equipment check and review, introduction to protective details, basic radio communication, protective security formations.
Day 2: Command post operations, protective intelligence, mission planning & briefing, advance operations.
Day 3: Counter assault and defensive marksmen teams, firearms familiarization, attack on principal, vehicle load plans and responsibilities, arrivals & departures.
Day 4: Motorcade operations, attack on motorcade, down vehicles, site security fundamentals, medical tactics & first aid.
Day 5: Live fire shooting, marksmanship.
Day 6: Live scenarios, awarding ceremony.
Prerequisites:
Applicant must have basic tactical skills & experience from the military and law enforcement fields. Must be able to participate in intensive training lasting up to ten hours per day. Must not have any medical restrictions.
Requirements:
Military/Police ID card (or if civilian Passport and copy of your Criminal Record), Medical certificate (You must bring these documents with you).
Required Equipment:
Combat uniform, boots, headgear, helmet, goggles, body armor and tactical vest, belt and tactical holster, tactical rifle sling, tactical gloves, knee protection pads, pack or rucksack, improved first aid kit (IFAK), personal retention lanyard, hydration system, balaclava, scrim net, flashlight, multi-tool (i.e leatherman), folding knife, tactical sunglasses, eye & ear protection, rain and cold-weather gear (we train in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS!). Chemical light sticks, survival lighter, tactical duct tape, paracord 550 rope, climbing carabiners, waterproof bag, binoculars and other personal tactical equipment are strongly recommended!
Any unit specific equipment issued to you that you wish to bring. (We strongly encourage you to bring and use your normal issued equipment). We will provide weapons, ammunition & gas masks as needed.
