Course Overview
The COMBAT INFANTRY COURSE is a tactics training course that combines platoon/squad/team level assault knowledge and skills into a four day training course. The course is held by the Military Training Center and it's modeled after Special Operations Warfare training programs at the unit level. It is designed to provide proficiency in Tactical Arms, employment and use of squad/member/team: identifying the objective, readback/briefing, route planing and land navigation, tracking/anti-tracking, patrolling, movement to contact, breaking contact, surveillance/anti-surveillance, communications, calling for fire for support of obtaining the objective, medevac (medic evacuation 9-line) to military, law enforcement, and other government units. You will receive an intensive full-immersion theoretical and practical combat infantry training in reference to the military standards by qualified instructors - with years of verifiable real-world experience - coming from the NATO countries and friends’ Armed Forces. You will learn how to conduct patrols, assaults, area assessment, squad heavy weapons emplacement using range card, battle drills, MOUT training, different type of ambushes, recon, planning assaults, insertions/extractions. You will learn the latest innovative, tested, and proven combat infantry skills and applications from instructors currently applying these skills in hostile areas around the world. It will be a challenging and comprehensive training program that will provide the attendee with the requisite skills for operating in a combat environment with emphasis on conducting operations using elite combat infantry elements.
Course Schedule (changes are possible):
Day 1: Classroom instruction, inprocessing, range card, 9-line medevac, area assessment including sector sketch, hand and arm signals, principles of land navigation, principles of patrolling, crossing linear and open danger areas, performing SALUTE/SALT report.
Day 2: Overview of Day 1, rally points, call for fire, patrol logistics/checks/review of mission, briefpack/sandtable, battle drill 1, land navigation, actions on Landing Zone (LZ)/insertion point, Remain Over night (RON), Remain Over Day (ROD), principles of Movement Over Urban Terrain (MOUT)/CQC, breach and clear minefield/obstacles, 2 mile with full gear.
Day 3: Overview of Day 1 & 2, battle drills, react to contact, break contact, react to indirect fire, react to ambush, primary elements of combat life saver, contingency plans.
Day 4: Overview of Day 1 & 2 & 3, land navigation, battle drills, combination of training/Field Training Exercise (FTX)/Examination, awarding ceremony.
Prerequisites:
Applicant must have basic tactical skills & experience from the military and law enforcement fields. Must be able to participate in intensive training lasting up to ten hours per day. Must not have any medical restrictions.
Requirements:
Military/Police ID card (or if civilian Passport and copy of your Criminal Record), Medical certificate (You must bring these documents with you).
Required Equipment:
Combat uniform, boots, headgear, helmet, goggles, body armor and tactical vest, belt and tactical holster, tactical rifle sling, tactical gloves, knee protection pads, pack or rucksack, improved first aid kit (IFAK), personal retention lanyard, hydration system, balaclava, scrim net, flashlight, multi-tool (i.e leatherman), folding knife, tactical sunglasses, eye & ear protection, rain and cold-weather gear (we train in ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS!). Chemical light sticks, survival lighter, tactical duct tape, paracord 550 rope, climbing carabiners, waterproof bag, binoculars and other personal tactical equipment are strongly recommended!
Any unit specific equipment issued to you that you wish to bring. (We strongly encourage you to bring and use your normal issued equipment). We will provide weapons, ammunition & gas masks as needed.
