QUICK EVENT OVERVIEW

The COMBAT MEDIC COURSE is a special operations field medical training that combines military special operation forces combat casualty care and police special units (SWAT) tactical medical knowledge and skills into a two day training course. The course is held by the Military Training Center and it’s modeled after Special Operations Warfare training programs. It is designed to provide tactical combat casualty care capabilities to military, law enforcement, and other government agencies.

You will receive an intensive special operations combat medical training in reference to the military standards by highly qualified instructors – with years of verifiable real-world experience – coming from the NATO countries and friends’ Armed Forces.
The aim of this course is to familiarize students with the combat medic concepts, methods and tactics used in both urban and rural high risk scenarios by the NATO Special Operations Forces. During this course students, will be exposed to a building block training method, leading into force on force scenarios.
They will acquire tactical combat casualty care capabilities, skills and knowledge required to operate in a combat theater and respond to high risk situations. Basic theory and practice is taught so as to allow the students to understand and execute the tactics and techniques needed to move, to treat and recover your wounded team mates while under fire. You will learn the latest innovative, tested, and proven tactics for moving as a combat medic team to the wounded, assessing and treating them and then moving your comrades to safety – while fighting your way both in and out – from instructors currently applying thes skills in hostile areas around the world.

It will be a challenging and comprehensive training program that will provide the attendee with the requisite skills and knowledge required to operate in combat operations and respond to high risk situations. Equipment selection, team tactical movement, combat trauma management, down team rescue, medical care under fire, controlling bleeding, injured extraction and casualty evacuations under stress will be emphasized. You will train under realistic combat conditions with full equipment. You will learn how to treat and stabilize injuries related to combat. To include, but not limited to, blast injury, amputation, severe bleeding, penetrating chest injuries and tension pneumothorax management, simple airway management, and medical evacuation techniques. There will also be challenging opportunities to test your skills in “red/blue” combat against the opposing forces using Simunition weapons (if available).
